*Reminder everyone needs to be ready for school and gamesl!

*If you have NOT received your ‘bling and glue’ you will need to get them from Mrs. Koch at the first AHS Camp practice back at AGOURA on 8/22/16. 

* VERY IMPORTANT – On 8/15/15  You received a very important email from the Agoura High School Athletic Director, Garrett Lepisto… regarding the Parent Meeting in the PAEC on 8/17/16, and the AAC ATHLETIC CLEARANCE DAY to be held at Agoura on TUESDAY, 8/23/16 from

 1-2:00pm.

* It is VERY IMPORTANT…that if you have NOT paid your ASB AND/OR your ATHLETIC DONATION for YOUR TRANSPORTATION, etc…as described in that email… that it NEEDS TO BE DONE AT THIS TIME!

*PLEASE ALWAYS COME TO ALL AHS CAMP PRACTICES/CLASS… DRESSED IN YOUR SPIRIT BLACK CHARGER T… WITH BLUE SHORTS/ATHLETIC SHOES (SONGLEADERS BRING JAZZ SHOES…. NO DANCING/CHEERING/STUNTING… IN BARE FEET OR SOCKS!). BRING WATER.

*YOU ARE NOW A TEAM…AND NEED LOOK LIKE IT TOO

*ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS REGARDING:

*PIERCINGS/ HAIR UP IN A HIGH PONYTAIL/NAILS/JEWELRY/NAILS/NO WRIST- HAIR TIES/PHONES/NO ANKLETS..etc…..ARE ALWAYS UPHELD!

*No deviation from the above….

Monday, 8/22- *AHS CAMP MANDATORY:

 

* ALL RETURNING Juniors and Seniors will meet with Mrs. Koch and Mrs. McGrew at McDonalds in Agoura at 4:00pm. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from this meeting.

*Please note…that once school classes have started ALL Team Members….NEW AND RETURNING….. will attend grade level meetings

*ALL TEAMS will meet from 5-7:00pm AT THE FOOTBALL FIELD ON THE TRACK!  Be sure to dress correctly (this is the last MANDATORY practice of AHS CAMP) and bring PLENTY OF WATER!!!!

* *All Team Members –  Remember …you MUST KNOW ALL BASIC FOOTBALL CHEERS, ALL CAMP OF CHAMPS CHEERS AND ROUTINES THAT YOU LEARNED, AT THIS TIME – YOU WILL BE TESTED….AND VIDEO TAPED AGAIN!

 

*Let’s see the improvements from all of the practicing you have been doing

*(REMINDER – LAST CHANCE –  IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING THE SPIRIT TEAM POOL PARTY AND HAVE NOT RESPONDED …THIS IS A MUST!)

Please bring $15.00 per person (CASH or check, made payable to “Cash”) with your signed releases and RSVP to practice on Monday, August 22nd.

Mrs. Berkman will be picking everything up at the END OF PRACTICE! Or you can mail your forms and payment to Patty Berkman at 28920 Dargan St., Agoura Hills 91301 on or before August 22nd.

Tuesday, 8/23 – IMPORTANT- Fall Athletic Clearance Day FROM

1-2:00PM at the AAC.

PLEASE pay your ASB and/or Athletic Donation at this time in accordance to the Athletic Director’s email of 8/15/16….of you have not done so previously

Wednesday, 8/24 – First Day of School, Period 5 – G Building-

*Please bring your lock for PE lockers and your Charger Girl black T and black or blue soffee shorts/ practice shoes (cheer and Jazz shoes) to leave in the locker room for classes/practices.

Do not dress for class today!

Thursday, 8/25 – Class – G Building –  *You will dress in your regular practice clothing…hair UP HIGH IN A PONY TAIL…following ALL of the rules that were to be followed during the summer time. Please have your NAILS CUT PROPERLY!

IF A RULE IS BROKEN… OR NOT FOLOWED… YOU MAY SIT OUT OF A PRACTICE/GAME/EVENT… UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLIED.  

*School and Game day dress to be decided. You will definitely wear your GOLD BOW for the game!

Friday, 8/26 – ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!?

 

*7:45am – All Team Members – Mandatory Practice on the Football field. *Those Team Members with 0 period…please report asap!

You will be dressed in your ‘game day SCHOOL DRESS’ as decided in class on 8/25/16.

FOR THE GAMES:

*JV and Frosh Soph will meet Mrs. McGrew in the Girls Locker room at 3:00pm and change immediately into your assigned game time uniform with your GOLD BOW!

Do NOT leave the locker room until MRS. MCGREW SAYS TO leave!

*Song – Don’t forget your GOLD POMS and your BOXES!

*Cheer – Everyone brings the signs/props/flags (including the BLUE POMS)…for pregame and half time too!

*Please bring your long sleeve uniform top/New Spirit Team Sweats with your and water in your NEW Under Armour backpack ONLY as well to the track… as you will need to change in to the long sleeved top for the Varsity game.

*Please do not bring any other personal belongings to the field. Leave them in your lockers

*Please also bring an energy snack as you will not be leaving the track for food, during your JV game. You will not be able to eat until the 3rd quarter of the VARSITY game. WATER ONLY in the stands!

*VARSITY  will arrive at the track performance ready WITH GOLD BOW at: 5:15pm.

*Please bring your new Spirit Team Sweats and water with you in your NEW Under Armour backpack ONLY!

*Please do not bring any other personal belongings to the field. Leave them in your lockers

*Please also bring an energy snack as you will not be leaving the track for food during the game or half time.

*Song – Don’t forget your GOLD and BLUE Poms

*ALL TEAMS WILL TAKE THE PROPS back to the GIRLS LOCKER Room IMMEDIATELY at the END of the Varsity game!

*You are NOT to leave the area until ALL of the props are put away…all of your individual Team Members are accounted for…and…you are dismissed by MRS. MCGREW….ONLY!

MONDAY, August 29 – ‘SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’  – Charger Girls Opportunity and Fundraiser – Complete information/paperwork to be emailed asap.

(Only 50 Team members will be able to attend.)

*Saturday – September 10 – OPPORTUNITY – UCLA Football Game USA halftime show performance. Time TBD.  ($20 – for the performance. parking and school bus to and from the event).

The first 50 Charger Girls (only) will be able to attend and perform.
