Charger Girls Update – 7/25-30/17

CHARGER GIRLS, PARENTS/REPRESENATIVES:

 

*WHAT A WEEK COMING UP!

 

TIME TO GET READY FOR USA CAMP AT CLU!

* IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE USA CAMP MEDICAL WAIVER  COMPLETELY …IT IS LATE!

*RETURNED IT TO AHS CAMP FILLED OUT COMPLETELY AT THE * MARKS … ON TUESDAY, 7/25!

*Thank you to the Parents/Representatives who attended the Food Service Meeting after practice last Thursday to plan ahead for the Team Members meal experience at USA Camp.

*Since the Team is NOT spending the 4 days/3 nights at the CLU/USA Campus…families have saved money…but…. planning for meals was necessary.

 *ON TUESDAY, 7/25/17  at the Pre-Camp performance –  $40 CASH IN A MARKED ENVELOPE WITH YOUR CHARGER GIRLS NAME.. WILL BE COLLECTED FROM EACH CHARGER GIRL ATTENDING USA CAMP AT CLU…FOR MEALS ON 7/28-29 – (2 lunches and 2 dinners).

7/27 and 7/30 –  CHARGER GIRLS WILL BRING THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL LUNCHES/DINNERS/SNACKS/DRINK etc….AS THEY WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.

jULIANNE(ON THE LEFT) a 1990 ‘something’ Charger Girl.. received the application for USA Staff at her Senior Camp experience…and went on to cheer at UCLA as well as become a Los Angeles Clipper Girl!

She is now married with 4 adorable children…and already has her girls in ‘cheer’ classes

THIS WEEK FOR THE CHARGER GIRLS:

 

TUESDAY – 7/25 – WOW! 

Last AHS Camp until the Team Returns for Football Prep on 8/18-19/17 !

 *Captains meeting 1:30pm in the G Building. Please come dressed in full uniform for pictures…and bring your A Tank!

*ALL Jrs. and Srs. – arrive at 1:40pm to set the mats and get all of the props. If you have your full uniform..please come dressed for pictures…and bring your A Tank!

*ALL TEAM MEMBERS – arrive by 1:50pm…AT THE LATEST!

If you have your uniform…please come dressed in your full uniform for pictures…and bring your A Tank!

As soon as the mats are set and the props are in the G building…the clothing will be distributed and ALL Team Members will get dressed RIGHT AWAY.

* Uniform/Camp Clothes Distribution  – 2:00pm

*AGAIN…ALL Returning Team Members – WEAR your Complete Uniform …AND…BRING your ‘A’ Tank with you.  

ALL TEAM MEMBERS bring your NEW Cheer shoes…and Songleaders…your Jazz shoes too (as always)!

*The BLING AND GLUE WILL BE GIVEN OUT WITH THE Uniforms pieces.

*DO TO LACK OF TIME BEFORE CAMP… AND THE TIME IT TAKES FOR THE BLING TO DRY SECURLY…The Pattern(s) for the BLING will be sent by email with the actual pattern for application of the crystals It is to be done AT HOME AT YOUR CONVENIENCE following the pattern(s) EXACTLY… AFTER CAMP… COMPLETED BY … BEFORE THE DATE OF 8/18!

* ALLTeam Members will wear their LONG SLEEVE Uniform Top/skirt and NEW WHITE CHEER SHOES FOR Pictures… for Football program .

*Hair may be worn ‘down’ if you wish…for pictures ONLY.

*There will be individual pictures for Seniors ONLY…and a picture taken of the ENTIRE TEAM TOGETHER by the photographer… for the Program.

*IMMEDIATLY… at the end of the Team Picture… the ENTIRE TEAM…will change into their ‘A’ Tank – and put their HAIR UP into a HIGH ponytail with their NEW WHITE BOW…as quickly as possible!

*ALL TEAM MEMBER’S NAILS MUST BE CUT SO THAT THE TOPS OF THE NAILS CANNOT BE SEEN ABOVE THE FINGER TIPS…or Mrs. Koch will cut them for you!

NO NAIL POLISH OF ANY COLOR IS ACCEPTABLE!

*Practice/warm up for Pre- Camp Performance.

*Pre-Camp Performance/USA Camp Informational Discussion – 5:00pm – in the Gym – Family and friends welcome!

*USA Camp – Clothing-Dining List with Arrival time/Where to meet…etc … and ALL information for USA Camp at CLU will be emailed this evening.. AFTER the Pre-Camp Performance AND USA Informational Discussion

(SONGLEADERS BRING JAZZ SHOES…. NO DANCING/CHEERING/STUNTING… IN BARE FEET OR SOCKS!). BRING WATER.

NO SWEATSHIRTS..ETC ARE TO BE WORN AT PRACTICE AS THEY ARE A SAFETY HAZARD!

*PIERCINGS/ HAIR UP IN A HIGH PONYTAIL/NAILS/JEWELRY/NAILS/NO WRIST- HAIR TIES/PHONES/NO ANKLETS..etc…..ARE ALWAYS UPHELD!

*No deviation from the above….YOU MAY SIT OUT OF A PRACTICE/GAME/EVENT… UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLIED.
